All our young people start the service with us in Church and leave with their leaders during the first or second hymn.
Sunday Club
This meets every Sunday during term time each week in the Church Hall except on the 4th Sunday of the month.
3 - 8 year olds can join our Discoverers Group.
8 - 11 year olds belong to the Explorers.
There is usually an annual trip out.
Treasure Chest
This is a mid week club on a Wednesday from 6.30 pm - 7.45 pm for young people of primary school age. They enjoy games, activities, a tuck shop and a 'God Spot'.
There is also a termly trip out - perhaps to a play area, a theme park or swimming,
Pathfinders
This group is for 11 - 14 year olds and meets during the Sunday morning service in the Community Centre across from the Church.
They leave Church after the start of the service on the 1st, 2nd and 5th Sundays. On the 3rd Sunday they remain in Church and share the service and Communion with us.
Pathfinders tend to have a monthly social activity (usually involves food!)
CYFA
This group meets on a Thursday evening in the Church and is for the 14 years and upwards age group. With the help of their leaders, they plan their own programme of teaching, activities and trips out.
We are currently in the process of working towards and applying for the 'Child Friendly Church' Award.
We have an active Child Protection Policy in place and all leaders and helpers involved with any of the young people groups,
require references and CRB checks before taking any responsibility for a young person.
