Jesus said:
Let the little children come to me and do not stop them,
for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these.

(Mark chapter 10 verse14 NIV)

HELLO AND WELCOME!

If you are reading this, you may be wanting to arrange a baptism.

You may have a new or fairly new baby! If so, CONGRATULATIONS!
If you have an older child or are an adult looking for baptism
that too is FANTASTIC NEWS!

Hopefully, here we can answer your questions on how to go about it.

FIRST OF ALL - Give Paul, the Vicar a ring or email him!

We would love to invite the whole family to join us for one of our services. If young children are coming too, then a family service (on the 1st Sunday of the month) is often the most comfortable atmosphere, particularly if you are not familiar with a church setting, However, all our services are designed to be as family friendly as possible and we have a Sunday Club for the over 3's and a play area with toys and books for the younger ones!                                                                  Worship Services

When you come to one of our services, please talk to a Warden (usually somewhere near the door before the service begins!), the Vicar or service leader (by the door at the end of the service!) or any member of the congregation. They will be able to give you a Baptism Pack which gives all the information about who to contact next, baptism preparation and collecting an application form.

Once the application is made, it can take about 7 to 10 days to arrange or confirm the date for the service.  We do try very hard to accommodate families with the date would like, but it is not always possible to give the date of your choice.

Some people think that it will only a few weeks to book a baptism when in reality it can take quite a bit longer than that, though we don't drag it out longer than is necessary!  However,we do advise not to book a venue for a party / or send invitations out until you have had confirmation of the baptism date.
